Pesto Chicken with Bow Tie Pasta

Ingredients

2 whole chicken breasts, boned, skinned
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste
12 ounces uncooked bow tie pasta
8 ounces prepared pesto
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup grated Romano cheese

Directions:

Rinse chicken and pat dry. Rub with olive oil; sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Place in baking dish. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until tender. Cut into bite-sized pieces. Cook pasta using package directions; drain. Toss with chicken, pesto, and cheeses in bowl.

Editor's Extra: I sometimes add a few tablespoons of chopped sundried tomatoes—tangy and pretty!
