Bacon-Wrap Burger

Ingredients

1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 egg
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pound ground beef
6 slices bacon
6 hamburger buns

Directions:

Heat gas, charcoal or electric grill.

In a 2-quart bowl, combine cheeses, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir in ground beef until thoroughly combined. Shape meat mixture into 6 patties. Wrap a slice of bacon around each patty. Secure bacon with toothpicks. Place patties on a hot grill. Grill for 7–8 minutes on both sides, or until meat reaches 165 degrees and is no longer pink in the center. Remove toothpicks and serve on hamburger buns with your favorite hamburger toppings.
