Easy Cheese Bowl

1 round sourdough bread loaf
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8-ounce) carton sour cream
1 (7-ounce) can chopped green chiles
1 cup frozen chopped seasoning blend
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco
2 cups shredded cheese of choice


Slice off top of sourdough loaf; set aside. Hollow out loaf to 1 inch of edges reserving bread cubes to toast for serving with dip. Mix cream cheese and remaining ingredients till smooth. Fill bread bowl with dip mixture; replace top; wrap in foil. Bake at 350° for 30–40 minutes. Serve with toasted bread cubes or crackers.

Editor's Extra: Seasoning blend is a package of frozen chopped onions, celery, bell pepper, and parsley. Ask for it if you don’t find it—saves a lot of prep time.
