Captian Bob's Tempura Beer Batter


Serves: 6

Ingredients

1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3/4 cup flat beer or ice water

Directions:

Combine dry ingredients and mix in beaten egg and vegetable oil. Add beer or ice water a little at a time until smooth. Cover and refrigerate till cooking time. (2 hours or even over night). Excellent for fresh Halibut, Salmon or Walleye.
