Three-Grain Peanut Butter Bread

Ingredients

1/2 cup oats instant
1 cup flour, stirred and measured
1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
1/2 cup dry milk powder
1/2 cup sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1 egg
1 1/2 cups milk

Directions:

In mixing bowl combine oats and dry ingredients. Cut in peanut butter as for pastry. Blend egg and milk and add to peanut butter mixture mix well. Spoon into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan spread batter evenly. Bake at 325 degrees F. for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan. Makes 1 loaf.
