Peach Dessert

Ingredients

1/3 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (16-ounce) can peaches sliced, drained
Ground cinnamon

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350° F. Melt margarine in an 8-inch square baking dish in the oven. Let cool slightly. Combine sugar, flour, milk, baking powder, and salt pour into the baking dish. Arrange peaches on top and sprinkle with cinnamon bake 40 to 45 minutes. If desired, serve with whipped cream, ice cream, or half-and-half with sugar and nutmeg to taste.
