Frozen Monkey Tails

Ingredients

3 bananas
6 wooden ice cream sticks
1 cup orange juice concentrate or apple juice
Chocolate Sauce (see below) or Peanut
Butter Sauce (see below) or both
1/2 cup nuts chopped, crisp rice cereal, coconut, granola

Directions:

1. Peel bananas. Cut in half crosswise to make "short" bananas. Push a wooden stick into the cut end of each banana half. Dip banana in orange or apple juice. Place banana halves on a cookie sheet. Cover with waxed paper and place in the freezer for 1 to 2 hours or until bananas are frozen solid. (You won't need the rest of the orange juice or apple juice so go ahead and drink it.)

2. While bananas are in the freezer, decide if you will dip the bananas in chocolate sauce or peanut butter sauce. Or you can dip the bananas in the peanut butter sauce and then the chocolate sauce for a double dipper. Prepare whichever sauce you want.

3. Remove frozen bananas from freezer. Dip in sauce. If you wish, roll bananas in nuts, cereal, coconut or granola while sauce is still soft. Return bananas to the freezer for about 5 minutes to firm up the coating, then eat!
