Berry Bavarian

Ingredients

1 (3-ounce) package strawberry jello or raspberry
1 cup water boiling
1 (10-ounce) package frozen strawberries sliced, or red raspberries
1 1/2 cups milk
1 (3 1/2-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding or pie filling mix
Frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions:

In a large bowl, stir gelatin and boiling water until gelatin dissolves. Drain berries, adding enough water to syrup to measure 3/4 cup liquid. Stir liquid and fruit into gelatin. Stir in milk and pudding mix. Using a whisk, stir for 2 minutes or until well blended.

Pour into individual parfait glasses or a 4-cup bowl. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight. Best served within 24 hours.

Serve with a spoonful of whipped topping.
