Chicken with Garlic Bread Crumbs

Ingredients

1/2 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley or 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 1/4 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast halves, cut into thin strips
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
spaghetti sauce or barbeque sauce, warmed, if desired

Directions:

Mix bread crumbs, parsley, salt and garlic. Dip chicken strips into egg, then coat with bread crumb mixture.
Melt margarine in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken in margarine 5 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink in center. Serve with spaghetti sauce.
