6 egg whites
1 teaspoon vinegar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups sugar
1 pint heavy cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
10 - 15 Heath candy bars, finely ground
chopped nuts


Beat egg whites with vinegar, salt, and vanilla until very stiff. Add sugar and beat until very stiff. Pour into 2 (9-inch) cake pans, buttered on sides and greased brown paper on bottom. Bake in 300° oven for 1 hour. Cool.

Whip cream and add sugar and vanilla. Fold in ground Heath bars. Place half of Filling between layers and other half on top. Cover top with chopped nuts. Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight.
