Crabmeat Sharman

Yield: Serves 6 as a main dish or 20 as a dip


2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
4 tablespoons grated onions
1 tablespoon cream-style horseradish
2 tablespoons milk
13 ounces crabmeat (fresh)
Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
juice of 1 lemon


Mix all ingredients together until smooth. Add a dash of Lea & Perrins Worcestershire and juice of lemon. Bake in 10-ounce buttered pie plate for 30 minutes at 350°. Cover with a sprinkle of paprika. Serve with sesame or rye Old London Melba rounds and toast. This and a good salad are quite a meal!
