Gunsmoke Chili


Serves: 10
Total Calories: 180

Ingredients

4 pounds venison, elk or beef, ground
2 large onions, minced
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
2 tablespoons parsley flakes
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 1/2 teaspoons basil
1 1/2 teaspoons oregano
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
4 tablespoons chili powder
4 cups strong beef bouillon
4 cups tomato paste

Directions:

Brown meat and onions together; add remaining ingredients and simmer 2 1/2–3 hours. Serve with cornbread.
