Ingredients

HOMEMADE PIZZA FROM THE KITCHEN OF MARK WILLIAMS:

PIZZA DOUGH:
2 1/4 cups warm water
1 tablespoon (package) active dry yeast
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon salt
3 tablespoons olive oil
6 cups flour
------------------------------
PIZZA SAUCE:
1 (16-ounce) can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
2 teaspoons basil
2 teaspoons oregano
1 tablespoon minced onion
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon sugar

Directions:

Mix water, yeast, sugar and oil together in a bowl, let it foam (2 minutes), add salt, then mix. Add flour then knead on the counter for 10 minutes (until it looks and feels soft and smooth). Let it rise for 1 hour. Mix together sauce ingredients in a bowl while the pizza dough rises. Divide the dough into 3 sections. Flatten sections of dough and cover with sauce.

Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
