How can I add an introduction to my cookbook when I print it?

QUESTION:

"I would like to add an introductory segment to my cookbook that will appear when I print my cookbook. Right now after the table of contents there are blank pages then the first chapter. Is there any way to add an introductory section and also add more than one photo to it? Thank you for your help with this. I have printed a number of cookbook copies in the past and this is one aspect I would like to have added. Sincerely," - Joe Z.

ANSWER:

Hi Joe,

Great question! To do this, all you need to do is simply add a chapter called 'Introduction' and, in the description section of the chapter, you can add your information in there.

To add a photo, you can click Options->Add Photo.

Alternatively, you can create a chapter called 'Introduction' or 'Preface' and then enter a recipe to that chapter called 'Dedication' and another one called 'Foreword' and 'Acknowledgments' for example.

When you enter recipes with no ingredients, Cook'n understands that these are text pages rather than actual recipes and it will display them as such.

To insert photos in the middle of your text, you can click Edit->Insert-Photo.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions!
