I Bet You Haven’t Tried All These Caramel Apple Combinations!


Anyone else loving the slight chill in the air? It’s officially fall and I am HERE. FOR. IT. There’s something about fall that just makes me want to really embrace the season with all the cliche activities and foods. Of course, fall isn’t complete without caramel apples!

I’ve seen many variations of caramel apples. Serve them whole and classically. Chop them up and serve as nachos. Slice them and put them on sticks. Slice them in large circles and do the same thing. Serve as plain apples with caramel for dipping. There’s definitely no wrong way to do it!

Where we can definitely have more fun is with what we serve with our caramel apples. I mean, sure plain apples with plain caramel is tasty, and is certainly a tasty snack that can hold its own! But you can elevate your caramel apples to a whole new level by putting together fun combinations of flavors! Here are some to try: (And all of these include the caramel and apple of course! )

  • Drizzle milk, dark, and white chocolate!
  • Coat with sweetened cream cheese or white chocolate and add sprinkle crushed graham crackers.
  • Add white chocolate and cinnamon sugar.
  • Coat with white chocolate and add crushed biscoff cookies.
  • Mini M&M’s add a pop of fun color!
  • Sprinkles also add color, but you can buy a fall mix to keep it seasonal and festive!
  • Drizzle with white chocolate and add pumpkin pie spice.
  • White chocolate and crushed Oreos- a classic combination for a reason!
  • Mini chocolate chips add a fun look and texture!
  • Drizzle with milk or dark chocolate and add mini marshmallows and crushed graham crackers!
  • White chocolate and toffee would make a truly indulgent combination!
  • Some people may prefer dark chocolate, toffee and peanuts!
  • Add chopped pecans and sprinkle brown sugar!
  • Add a layer of peanut butter and mini chocolate chips!
  • Add some finely chopped coconut flakes.
  • Add some finely chopped coconut flakes with crushed grahams crackers and a drizzle of chocolate for a Samoa cookie vibe!
  • White chocolate with some crushed sprinkle animal cookies would be delicious and beautiful!
  • Do a Rocky Road mixture with melted chocolate, chopped peanuts and mini marshmallows!
  • Crushed chocolate chip cookies would be unique and tasty.
  • Coat with crushed freeze-dried strawberries and crushed graham crackers.
  • Reese’s Pieces would look beautiful and satisfy any peanut butter craving.
  • Crushed butterfingers would have a peanut butter taste as well as a super tasty texture!
  • Sea salt flakes would be simple and SO good.
  • Add a layer of edible cookie dough.
  • Add your favorite breakfast cereal- Apple Jacks, Fruity Pebbles, Reese Puffs, Captain Crunch- Each would be a little different and delicious!
  • Crushed pretzels and a drizzle of chocolate would add sweet, salty, and texture!
