DoveTailing Tips

Shred or cube the leftover chicken and save to use in Cajun Chicken Pasta on Day 3.

Save leftover End-of-Summer Ratatouille to also use on Day 3 in the Cajun Chicken Pasta. I like to make a large batch of roasted veggies to use in many things. They are great added to pasta, rice, or scrambled eggs.

DoveTailing Tips

With the leftover prime rib, cut enough of the cooked meat into 1/2" pieces to make 2-3 cups. You will use it on Day 5, Prime Rib Hash.

When making the Lemony Salt-Roasted Fingerling Potatoes, prepare 2-3 russet potatoes by rubbing olive oil on them and poking with a fork. Bake them alongside the fingerling potatoes. If not soft after baking time, leave them in for 10-15 minutes more to finish cooking. You will use them on Day 5, Prime Rib Hash.

DoveTailing Tips

Here is my fast version of the Cajun Chicken Pasta: Use the leftover chicken and vegetables from Day 1. Sprinkle with Cajun spice, salt, and pepper. Add the leftover roasted veggies to the chicken. Now for the sauce - scroll down to the chicken broth in the recipe. Start there in the directions and make the sauce. Add the chicken and veggies to the sauce. Toss with the cooked pasta.
