Catalina Taco Salad

I had forgotten about this wonderful main dish salad, which I used to serve all the time, until my sister-in-law gave me a bottle of Catalina dressing. I've served it twice since. Yummy.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef (90% lean)
3 cups (12 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (15-ounce) can pinto or black beans, rinsed and drained
2 medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 bunch Romaine lettuce, torn
1 (12-ounce) package Fritos Original Chips
1 (24-ounce) bottle Catalina salad dressing

Directions:

In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Transfer to a large serving bowl.

Add the cheese, beans, tomatoes, onion, romaine and corn chips. Drizzle with dressing; gently toss to coat. Yield: 12 servings.
