I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. I love that and just wanted you to know how much we appreciate all your hard work in putting together this newsletter. Thank you very much.

Coleslaw Deluxe

Serves: 12

Download this recipe.

6 cups shredded cabbage
1 1/2 cups (3 medium) shredded carrots
1/2 cup chopped green onions

1 cup salad dressing or mayonnaise
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 to 2 tablespoons dill seeds, if desired
1/2 teaspoon salt

1. In large bowl, combine all salad ingredients.

2. In small bowl, combine all dressing ingredients; blend well. Spoon dressing over salad; toss gently. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate until serving time.
