White Rice Cooked Like Pasta

This a very easy way to cook larger quantities of rice, there is no measuring involved, and the rice won't absorb the water the way it does with the traditional method. I have had great success with this method! Dovetailing Tip: Cook enough rice to have leftovers for meal 5, instead of having to cook more that day.

Serving size: 5
Calories per serving: 0

Ingredients:
white rice

Directions:
Bring a large pot of water to a rigorous boil. Rinse the rice well (we will be using jasmine). Add the rice to the boiling water and cook it like pasta (it will not stick to the bottom of the pot). Drain in a colander once the rice is al dente or nearly done. It will carry-over cook slightly. Spread out on a sheet tray to cool.
