What’s on your Kitchen Wish List?

My husband recently told me that all I ever want for Christmas is clothes and kitchen stuff. I suppose he’s right. What else is there?! I love looking at cooking gadgets and ways to improve my game in the kitchen. Here are five kitchen things that I have on my wish list this year. What’s on your kitchen wish list?

  1. An Air Fryer – These nifty kitchen appliances are getting a lot of attention right now, and for a good reason. Who doesn’t love fried food? The problem with fried food is that we don’t want all of the calories and fat that go with it. Air fryers use circulating hot air to produce the same crispy texture as food deep fried in oil. The Philips brand fryer is supposed to be the best of the best.

  2. Instant Pot Accessories – Instant Pots and other small pressure cookers are still selling like crazy. If I didn’t already have one, it would be at the top of my list. But since I already have one, I am wishing for some accessories to go with it. You can buy steamer baskets, an egg steamer rack, extra sealing rings, a ceramic inner pot, a glass lid, and a silicone lid. There are even gripper clips and specially designed silicone pot holders that help you lift the inner pot without getting burned.

  3. Herb Scissors – I have always loved using kitchen shears. I use mine mostly for cutting green onions. These kitchen shears are made specifically for herbs. There are five equally balanced, stainless steel blades that cut at once. One cut is equal to 10 chops with a knife. It also comes with a combing, cleaning brush. They are also dishwasher safe.

  4. OXO Good Grips 3-in-1 Avocado Slicer – I love avocados, and I would love them even more if I had this handy gadget. This gadget splits your avocado, makes it easy to remove the pit, and slices it. It has a comfortable non-slip grip and can be washed in the top rack of the dishwasher. What a perfect stocking stuffer!

  5. Collapsible Silicone Colander – There are two words that I love in this gadget: collapsible and silicone. Those of us who have kitchens on the smaller side are always looking for ways to save space. I love the idea of collapsible cooking gear that would really save space! I also am loving many things silicone in the kitchen lately. I just bought some reusable silicone baking cups that I love. I have also seen collapsible mixing bowls, measuring cups, funnels, and bakeware.

I could definitely add more to my kitchen Christmas wish list (like a completely new remodeled kitchen), but I will settle with these five for now. If any of you have used any of these gadgets, I would love to hear your reviews… Have a very Merry Christmas and may all your kitchen wishes come true!
