I am interested in the Food Planner software that you talk about in your About DVO page. Do you still sell this software?

I plan menus for a week or more at a time and would really like to have automated menus...I have actually given this a lot of thought but do not have the time to create the database, and programs needed to create this...

Do you sell the software for The Food Planner to help families plan their food storage? If so I NEED IT BADLY, so where can I purchase it? I can't seem to get food storage right and end up wasting most of the food I store. (Lack of knowing how to store correctly, what to store, and how much etc.) Again I want to thank you for believing in yourself to get your program out on the market. Keep up the good work....:)

The main reason I purchased the Cook'n Recipe Software was to help me plan and purchase food items for my "years supply" that will really make shopping more sensible. Last night I was really excited to read that this is one reason you started up the business.

Only problem is that I can't really find the specific help with food storage planning;. Do you have suggested recipes? I surely hope so. Would you or someone help me with the simple 1,2,3 s for accessing recipes using storable items that don't need refrigeration. I guess I just need help getting started. You may already have what I need somewhere and I may be having trouble finding where. Please email or tell me a good time to call.

I mostly wanted to write and tell you how impressed I am with your testimony and your company values. I'm reaching the age where I'm trying to pick companies more for their integrity than price, so it makes me feel good to buy software from you. I stopped my shopping for recipe software the second I read about your company values.

I can't help but see a ton of things you can do with the software. It's GREAT as is, but seeing that you wrote food storage software first, I can't help but think that ideally, Cook'n could tie in perfectly with food storage software -- 'shopping' first from the food storage database (that catalogues & calculates amounts of food storage you and your family need), then you can create your 'store' shopping list from the food storage db. This would be perfect in so many ways, not just because it helps you utilize your food storage better, but you can base your food storage on what your family eats and how much! Man just thinking about it gets me excited! People wouldn't have to be into 'food storage' necessarily to take advantage of this...anyone would like to 'shop' from their own pantries first.

We face threats from terrorists, earthquakes, floods (Katrina), fires (California), and other natural disasters. But there is an economic crisis right around the corner that will affect all of us and most people are not even aware there's a problem yet.

So, we partnered with Prospering Families and created this CD because we care about the members of the Cook'n Family and we want to do all we can to help.

Did you know that the people who lived through the Great Depression didn't call it a depression? They didn't walk around saying "Boy, this depression really stinks!" They knew that the stock market had dropped, that unemployment in many areas of the country was very high, and that times were incredibly difficult. It wasn't until 1940 that the term The Great Depression was used to describe that period of time.

Could we be in a depression or headed for one and not even know it? 		The stock market has dropped more than 1000 points in the last couple weeks and is off to the worst start in history! Gas prices are at a record high. The value of the dollar is at an all-time low. The housing market is in the toilet.

Consumer spending makes up 70% of the U.S. economy comes but credit card debt just hit a record high at more than a trillion dollars and credit card defaults have never been higher. Consumer spending is bound to decline and it may happen suddenly.

Lay-offs usually follow dramatic declines in the stock market. When that happens, consumer spending slows down which leads to more lay-offs which means to less consumer spending, etc. It's a vicious cycle. Some analysts say that we are headed for something that could be ten times worse than the Great Depression.

I believe this can be avoided. I believe in the ingenuity, resourcefulness, and spirit of the American people. But, it makes sense to prepare for the worst while we hope for the best.

Prepare yourselves with every needful thing and if you are prepared, you shall not fear. Let's prepare now and put fear aside...then we can tackle this thing with courage and hope (and maybe a really nice tax cut too!)!

I absolutely love cook'n and have already prepared several meals for my wife and I. We have lots of cookbooks that I never use. It is great to just enter a certain type of food or ingredient, get a recipe and then print it out. No books to sift through. It has been a catalyst for me to start cooking for the first time in my life and I am having so much fun. My 12 year old daughter had a blast making the string cheese sticks from your tips even though we had flour everywhere(my fault too, I was making your fried chicken recipe that night too.)Bottom line is that your product has been a blessing for us and I appreciate you and your wife's personal touch too.
