Super Easy Chicken Parmesan Slider Bake

I’m back again with another awesome recipe my whole family approved and loved. I love a good slider recipe. Sliders are the perfect thing to make this time of year with football coming back and the NBA playoffs on right now. Sliders just scream sports party to me. My husband and I love to eat all the yummy snacks and appetizers that are associated with sports parties like the Super Bowl—who doesn’t?!—chicken wings, seven layer bean dip, jalapeño poppers, potato skins, you name it. But don’t forget about sliders. Whether you are making traditional burger sliders, or little ham and cheese Cuban sliders, there are so many ways to bring this simple finger food size sandwich to your next dinner or sports party.

My husband loves sliders just as much as I do, so when I saw a recipe for chicken Parmesan sliders, I knew I had to make it right away. He’s the world's biggest chicken Parmesan fan so I knew this would be the perfect thing to make.

I really love this recipe too, because you can use things that you most likely already have on hand in the freezer and pantry. The recipe calls for cutting a loaf of King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls in half and layering all the yummy fillings inside. If you don’t have any of those particular rolls, you can use store-bought dinner rolls, homemade rolls, or even the frozen rolls that you rise and bake at home instead.

I used my favorite recipe from Six Sisters Stuff for 30 minute dinner rolls and they turned out perfectly! So basically you just layer your 9 x 13 casserole dish with the bottom halves of the rolls and top with sauce, cheese, and your breaded chicken tenders. You can use chicken tenders, or even chicken nuggets if that’s what you have on hand. That is what I used and they turned out delicious! Then you top with more sauce and cheese, of course :) then add the top half of the rolls. You then make a little sauce that’s buttery and has yummy Italian spices. They have a bit of a spicy sauce for this recipe by adding a little bit of red pepper flakes, but you could easily just mix melted butter with some garlic salt or your favorite garlic seasoning and that is a delicious way to top it all off.

Bake these babies in the oven, enjoy all those yummy smells and anticipation while it’s baking and get ready to party! These are naturally a little messier than, say, a Cuban slider. So these aren’t exactly the most ideal sliders to eat in the living room while you--okay, your husband--is screaming at the players on the TV. But sliders aren’t just for appetizer party food. I would classify them as a very easy dinner idea for busy nights because I almost always have these ingredients on hand and they are really easy to put together.  I found this recipe this year when looking for sliders for football season and I had to share this recipe with you guys because my family loved them so much!
