Coolest New Kitchen Gadgets Roundup

Every once in a while I like to online “window shop” in the wonderful world of new kitchen gadgets. It’s kind of amazing to me that there is always something new that people can think of! And things that even in today’s day and age that become an everyday item that everyone has in their kitchen. So, if you happen to be a creative, innovative kind of person—never think you’re too late in the game to come up with a new, must-have invention. It’s always kind of funny when you’ll see something new and think—how have I lived without ______ this my whole life????

I have found a few new kitchen gadgets that seem really fun to be given as a gift for yourself or another food lover you know and a couple that seem pretty dang useful!

I have to say this seems a little funny for me to even be writing an article like this because I have finished reading Marie Kondo’s book about purging your house of all the extra stuff in it you never use, I watched the Minimalism documentary on Netflix and am fascinated by the Tiny House Nation show on tv, so needless to say, I am probably not looking to buy any new gadgets to take up room in my kitchen any time soon ha! However, I will pass the good word to you guys if you see any of these making your life any easier.

I also think a cool kitchen gadget can make a fun and unique wedding gift! You know every young married couple is going to get about 4 waffle makers as wedding gifts, but take a look at this one and I’m pretty sure you can tell me which one they are NOT going to be taking back to the store. ;)

That’s just about the coolest thing ever. Even despite my minimalist ways—my waffle maker did go out a couple months back and I have been on the lookout for a new one because I love me some waffles on Saturday mornings!

Now this next one would be the perfect gift for any Star Wars lover you know. (Or a lovely gift to yourself, of course!)

I mean I’m just not sure I’ve seen a cooler popsicle in my whole life!! They’d be perfect for Star Wars themed birthday party in the summer time too.

Now for something a little more practical…

I slice a LOT of tomatoes and lemon slices and things like that almost every day so I think this is a really inexpensive ($5.99) and cool gadget to save some time. I could easily see this being something I wonder how I lived without!

Now here’s a really cool one: a bag re-sealer!

You can reseal any chip bags or the like by using this bag resealer that heats up and creates a new seal. You can find this on Amazon for just under $20. You will see a lot of mixed reviews but after reading several I would feel confident buying this knowing I just need to follow the directions! I find myself buying the ginormous bag of chips because it’s a better value but then they always end up going stale because my family doesn’t go through them fast enough so this seems like a pretty cool idea if you’re one to have crunchy snacks on hand often! ;)

And last of all, I really like this very pretty and functional compact food prep set.

This would be the perfect housewarming gift for someone with a small home or apartment as it occupies the absolute minimum amount of space. This set includes a colander, sieve, mixing bowls, and measuring cups.
