Kimchi Queso

Description

Here is a dish that you may not think of making or trying but trust me it worth it. If you haven’t take the time to try Kimchi first try it by itself then in this recipe that you might come to love a new Queso. We have a Korean store near H-mart where I got fresh Kimchi you will surprised how many different kinds they do make. Kimchi is a traditional fermented Korean side dish made of vegetables with a variety of seasonings. In traditional preparation, kimchi was stored underground in jars to keep cool during the summer months and unfrozen during the winter months. There are hundreds of varieties of kimchi made from napa cabbage, radish, scallion, or cucumber as a main ingredient.

I add a step stir-frying the kimchi and then mix into the cheese so the kimchi is not as raw.

Ingredients

2 cups kimchi

1 (7-ounce) package sharp cheddar cheese

1 pint sour cream

2 tablespoons Korean, red pepper flakes

1 top, scallion

Directions

Chopped the kimchi into large piece (I stir-fried the kimchi for 5 min) set-a-side.

In a large pot add the sharp cheddar cheese and heat over medium to high heat once melted add the sour cream and the Korean Red pepper flakes to taste. Pour into your bowel take and chop the top of one scallion sprinkle over the mixer and enjoy.
