Some people say that the problem with education in Utah is that we're not spending enough. Let's look at that. Half of Utah's budget goes to education. As tax payers in Utah, we're spending over $7,000 per student per year on education. I'm picturing a 5th grade class of 30 students and $210,000 sitting on the table (30 students X $7000 each == $210,000). The Federal Government has taken over 70% of Utah land. The Utah Republican Party Platform calls on the Governor to use the Constitutional Defense Fund and other resources at his disposal to bring unconstitutional declarations by our Presidents without approval from Congress of any large tract of Utah land as a national monument before the Supreme Court for reversal. I will answer that call. The Health Care bill that passed recently is unconstitutional. The 2nd Amendment to the Constitution, the Right to Bear Arms, is under attack.
