Who Can You Trust?

Dear Friends,

At this point, you must be wondering why a candidate for Governor would post entertaining video clips like this on his campaign web site. What politician, in the history of the world, would pass on an opportunity to talk about himself or his platform? Well, I passed on this opportunity for three reasons:
  1. I'm not a career politician. Career politicians love to talk about themselves. They think they have all of the answers. Sometimes they're so busy talking that they don't take time to listen. Wouldn't it be great to have a leader in government who listened? Someone who understood that this country is great, not because of some government program...but because of Capitalism and the Forces of the Free Market System! Our Founding Fathers never wanted career politicians in government. Instead, they wanted successful people from the private sector to serve their country.

  2. My track record of success speaks louder than anything I could possibly say. As the owner of a successful business, I have employed hundreds of people over the last 18 years and I have learned that people will say just about anything in a job interview. But, the best way to determine how a person will perform is to look at their track record. Similarly, politicians will say just about anything to get elected but the best way to determine if a candidate will serve well is to look at his track record. I hope you will take time to read some of my customers' comments and take a look at my track record; it speaks for itself.

  3. You Deserve It! I heard you and I know that as this campaign heats up, many of you feel bombarded by some of the candidates. Hopefully, the humor in this message will help you maintain proper perspective and make this process fun for you.
Until you get a chance to learn more about me, please know that I hear you, I know you, and I appreciate you. I appreciate the time that you are taking to serve as a State Delegate. I am grateful for the effort you put into learning about the candidates so you can represent your precincts well. Keep up the good work!

Best wishes,

Dan Oaks
