Salmon Toast

Ingredients

3 large slices sourdough bread
1/4 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic
1/2 teaspoon minced dill
4 ounces cream cheese with chives, softened
3 ounces sliced salmon
dill

Directions:

1. Cut the bread into 2-inch squares with a serrated knife.
2. Mix together the olive oil, dill, and garlic, then sprinkle over both sides of the bread. Place the bread in a frying pan over medium heat and fry until both sides are toasted.
3. Spread the cream cheese on the toast while it is still warm. Top with a slice of lox, garnish with a sprig of dill, and serve.
