Easy Tahini Sauce

Serves: 5
Total Calories: 5
Yield: 1 cup


1/3 cup sesame tahini
1 clove garlic pressed
3 to 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons tamari sauce
1/3 to 1/2 cup water


1. Place all the ingredients except the water in a small bowl and mix well.
2. While vigorously stirring the ingredients, slowly add the water until the desired consistency is reached.
3. Use immediately or refrigerate in a covered container up to three days.

For a Change . . .
* For a more classic version, use lemon juice instead of balsamic vinegar and sea salt (to taste) instead of tamari.
