Sweet and Sour Turkey

Ingredients

1 wild turkey, cut up (breast and thighs only)
2 onions, cut up
1 clove garlic
1 bay leaf
2 whole cloves
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
2 teaspoons salt
10 peppercorns

Directions:

Place turkey in pot with 4 cups of water. Add onion, garlic, bay leaf, cloves, mustard, salt, and peppercorns. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 2 hours. Remove turkey and strain broth. Return broth to pot, add cornstarch combined with sugar and vinegar. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens. Add turkey and simmer for 15 minutes.
