Onion Soup in the Microwave

Ingredients

1 cup thinly sliced onion
2 tablespoons margarine
1 can condensed beef broth
1 slice toasted French bread
1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

In 1-quart glass dish, combine onions and margarine. Cook 2–3 minutes until onions are soft. Stir. Add beef broth and cook on HIGH for 2–3 minutes. Stir. Pour into large soup bowl. Cover mixture with bread slice and sprinkle with cheeses. Cook, uncovered, for 45 seconds on HIGH until cheese is melted.
