1. In a small saucepan, mix together the water, tamari, oil, Worcestershire sauce, maple syrup, and garlic. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5–10 minutes, or until reduced to 1/4 cup. Set aside and let cool to room temperature.
2. Place the salmon in a shallow dish, cover with the marinade, and let sit for 30 minutes.
3. Cook the salmon 3 minutes per side on a gas grill. Do not overcook or it will dry out. Serve with brown jasmine rice and a salad.
