Beef Stew Mix Pie

Ingredients

1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon liquid gravy base
1 (8 1/2-ounce) can frozen peas and carrots
2 tablespoons snipped parsley
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup water
1 (16-ounce) tube refrigerated biscuit (10 biscuit size)

Directions:

In saucepan, combine stew mix, 1/2 cup water, salt, and gravy base. Cover and cook over low heat until mix is thawed, about 20 minutes. Add peas and carrots and parsley. Cover and simmer until tender, about 5 minutes. Blend flour into water to make a smooth paste. Stir into stew. Cook and stir until stew thickens. Pour into a 2-quart baking dish. Cut 7 biscuits in half and place on top of hot stew. Bake at 450F for 20-25 minutes. Serve with remaining baked biscuits.
