Pam's Crock Pot Apple Butter


Serves: 48
Total Calories: 34

Ingredients

12 apples, peeled and sliced
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon sugar, use more if the apples are tart
1/2 cup pineapple juice *

Directions:

Fill crock pot with apples (it may take more than 12). Add remaining ingredients. Cook on HIGH 5-7 hours. In the last hour or so, let steam out. Stir now and then. Watch carefully as apples swell some until cooked a bit.

*NOTE: You may substitute vinegar for pineapple juice
