Ingredients

1/4 cup lowfat milk
1 1/2 tablespoons chocolate-syrup
1 cup sliced banana (1 large banana)
2 cups chocolate lowfat yogurt
2 tablespoons chocolate malted milk powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:

Place the milk, chocolate syrup, banana, yogurt, malted milk powder, and cinnamon in a blender, and mix on low speed until the mixture is blended. Continue mixing, gradually increasing the speed, until the mixture is smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish each by inserting a shard of chocolate lace* upright in the smoothie, if desired.

*Chocolate lace is a crispy, lacy pattern of caramelized sugar that is covered with a chocolate glaze. It is available in most fine candy stores.
