Whole Wheat Pie Crust

Ingredients

1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup unbleached flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon cider vinegar
water

Directions:

Combine whole wheat and unbleached flours with salt. With fork, mix egg and vinegar. Add to flour mixture and toss lightly to blend. If necessary, add water to bring dough to a rollable consistency. On a lightly-floured pastry cloth, roll dough to fit into a 9-inch pie pan. Chill 30 minutes. Bake crust in a preheated 425° F oven for 8 minutes to set if rebaking with filling. For unbaked pie filling, bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden when cool, add filling of your choice.
