Strawberry Finger Paint

Ingredients

You Will Need:
1 cup water cold
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 (3-ounce) package strawberry jello
2 cups water boiling
1 1/2 teaspoons glycerin* (optional)
1/16 teaspoon or less red paste food color**

Directions:

* * Available in pharmacies. It makes the mixture smoother. ** This is optional as red food color may stain hands. Instructions:

In a medium saucepan, mix cold water and cornstarch until smooth. Stir in gelatin until blended. Stir in boiling water. Stirring over medium heat, bring to a boil and boil for 1 to 2 minutes or until thickened and shiny. Remove from heat. Stir in glycerin and food color. Place plastic wrap directly on surface to prevent film from forming cool.

Store, covered, in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Bring to room temperature before using.

Note: To remove red color from hands, rinse hands in a mixture of 1 cup warm water and 1 teaspoon liquid bleach.

Packaging Suggestions: Store in a clear glass jar then decorate the jar with stickers!
