Spider Web Cookies

Serves: 3

Ingredients

3 dozens (3-inch) round sugar cookies of your choice*
Chocolate Piping Glaze (see below)
Cookie Glaze (see below)

Directions:

Bake cookies, cool and brush off any excess crumbs. Prepare glaze recipes just before using. Place Chocolate Piping Glaze in a decorating bag fitted with around decorating tube.

To decorate each cookie, spread about 1 teaspoon of the Cookie Glaze on a cookie. Immediately pipe circles of Chocolate Glaze over the Cookie Glaze (see diagram below). Using a wooden pick or skewer, draw through the Chocolate Glaze following the arrows in the diagram. Repeat with remaining cookies. The glaze will set up quickly so decorate one cookie at a time. Let dry completely. Place in a container with pieces of waxed paper between the layers. Store loosely covered.

*Use your own favorite recipe for rolled cookies or use 1 package (20 oz.) refrigerated sugar cookie dough.
