Skewered Franks And Vegetables

Ingredients

4 hot dogs each cut in three pieces
1/2 cup barbecue sauce favorite prepared
water Boiling
1/2 green bell pepper medium, cut in 8 pieces
8 cherry tomatoes
8 mushrooms medium

Directions:

Place frankfurters in a 9-inch pie plate. Pour sauce over and turn to coatlet stand while preparing vegetables, stirring occasionally.

Place green pepper in a small saucepan of boiling water. Over high heat,return to a boil cover and cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and drain.

To assemble kabobs, thread on each skewer one piece of frankfurter, green pepper, cherry tomato and mushroom repeat then add third piece of frankfurter. Brush with barbecue sauce.

Spray cold grate with non-stick cooking spray or brush with oil. Place kabobs on grill about 4 inches above medium-hot coals. Turning and brushing with sauce several times, cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until browned and tomato skins are wrinkled but not split.
