No-Bake Peanut Butter Granola Bars

1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
1/3 honey
1/2 cup dry milk powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups granola cereal


Lightly butter an 8- or 9-inch square baking pan.

In a medium microwavable bowl, stir peanut butter and honey.

Microwave, uncovered, at 100% power (700 watts) 1 minute. Remove from microwave oven.

Stir in dry milk powder and vanilla until well blended. Stir in granola until well coated with peanut butter mixture. Spoon into pan and press mixture firmly into an even layer.

Let stand 45 minutes or until firm enough to cut. Cut into bars.

Cover tightly to keep bars chewy.
