Disappearing Peanut Butter Bars

Ingredients

1 cup chunky peanut butter
1/2 cup brown sugar packed
1 egg large
1 cup butterscotch chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325°.

In a small bowl, mix peanut butter, brown sugar, and egg until well blended. Press evenly in bottom of an 8- or 9-inch square baking pan.

Bake 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Sprinkle with chips. Cover pan with foil. Bake 5 to 7 minutes longer until chips are softened. Spread chips over peanut butter layer. Cool pan on a wire rack. Cut into bars.

Cover and store in a cool place.
