James' Cocoa Pecan Pie

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup corn syrup dark
3/4 cup half and half
3 eggs lightly beaten
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup pecans halves
1 frozen pie crust unbaked

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325°. In a small bowl, mix sugar, cocoa powder, flour and salt set aside.

In a large bowl, mix corn syrup, half-and-half, eggs, butter or margarine, and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients until smooth. Stir in pecans.

Pour into pie shell. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes or until a knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool completely before serving. Refrigerate leftovers,
