Hot Hoagie Roll-up

Serves: 5

Ingredients

Directions:

"This different kind of 'sandwich' goes great with tomato soup."

1. Place on a clean surface 1 slice whole wheat bread.

Use a rolling pin and roll over bread to flatten.

2. Spread on bread 1/2 teaspoon mustard.

3. Cut so they are slightly smaller than piece of bread, 1 slice luncheon meat of your choice, such as ham, bologna or salami and 1 slice cheese of your choice, such as mozzarella, Cheddar or Swiss.

Place meat then cheese on bread. Roll up, making a fat roll. Stick two long toothpicks through the Roll-Up to hold it together.

Wrap in a paper towel.

4. Microwave at 100% power (700 watts) for 30 seconds or just until cheese melts. Remove from microwave oven.

5. Wait for 1 minute for cheese to cool a little.

6. If you wish, decorate the ends of the toothpicks with small pickle or pickle slice, or an olive.

Or you can cut sandwich in half before serving. Remove picks before eating.
