Herbed Peas And Mushrooms

1 (10-ounce) package peas
1 cup mushrooms sliced
2 tablespoons green onions sliced
1/2 tablespoon butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon marjoram dried, crushed
1/8 teaspoon thyme dried, crushed
1/16 teaspoon pepper


Cook peas according to package directions in unsalted water. Drain well and keep hot.

Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over medium heat, saute mushrooms and green onions in butter or margarine for 5 minutes or until limp.

In a small bowl, combine sugar, salt, marjoram, thyme and pepper. Sprinkle over hot drained peas. Add mushroom mixture and stir until blended. Heat through and serve immediately,
