Hard-Boiled Eggs For Decorating

Serves: 0

Ingredients

Have Ready:
Eggs, as many as you want to decorate
You'll Need:
saucepan, large enough to hold eggs
slotted spoon
large bowl
empty egg cartons

Directions:

Fill the saucepan half full with warm water. Carefully lower the eggs into the water with a slotted spoon. Bring to a boil. Turn the heat down immediately to simmer and set timer for 15 minutes. Remove the eggs from the saucepan with a slotted spoon to the large bowl filled with cold water. When the eggs are cooled, place in egg cartons and keep in the refrigerator until ready to decorate.

Note: Bring your eggs to room temperature before you start to help keep the shells from breaking when you lower them into the warm water.
