Fruit Filling For White Cake

Ingredients

1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon butter real
2/3 cup sour cream
1 egg lightly beaten
1/2 cup pitted prune prunes
1/2 cup currants
2/3 cup pecans chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

Combine sugar, butter, sour cream, egg, prunes, and currants. Cook over medium heat, stirring, for about 5 minutes or until slightly thickened. Remove from heat cool slightly. Add pecans and vanilla. Let cool and spread on 2 layer white cake.
