2 tablespoons anise seeds
2 tablespoons fennel
4 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon ground
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
3/4 teaspoon cloves ground

Place anise and fennel seeds, cinnamon, pepper and cloves in a blender container. Cover and blend at high speed for about 1 minute or until all spices are powdered. Store in a tightly covered jar in a cool, dry place.
