Dilled Cucumber Salad With Yogurt

Ingredients

2 cucumbers large, pared seeded, and thinly sliced
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup plain yogurt
1 tablespoon onion finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon sugar
dash hot sauce
1 tablespoon dill weed finely chopped fresh or 1 teaspoon dried dill
Lettuce leaves, washed and crisped
2 tomatoes peeled and cut into wedges

Directions:

Toss cucumbers with salt and place in colander for 1 hour. Rinse well and drain. Combine yogurt, onion, sugar, Tabasco®, and dill in small bowl. Pat cucumbers dry with paper towels and toss with dressing. Serve on lettuce leaves and garnish with tomato wedges.
