Crumb Crust Pie Shell

Ingredients

1/3 cup butter or margarine
1 1/3 cups graham crackers fine crumbs (about 19 squares)
2 tablespoons brown sugar or granulated sugar

Directions:

* Cooking Time: About 3 minutes Power: 100% (700 watts) Cooling Time: About 20 minutes Place butter in a 9-inch microwavable pie plate. Microwave, uncovered, at 100% power (700 watts) for 45 to 60 seconds or until melted.

Stir in graham cracker crumbs and sugar until well blended and crumbs are coated. Press crumbs evenly into bottom and up sides of pie plate.

Microwave, uncovered, at 100% power for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until set, rotating pie plate one-half turn after 1 minute. Cool on a wire rack. Store baked shell loosely covered up to 24 hours. Fill as desired. Once filled, serve the same day.

Cookie Crumb Pie Shell: Use gingersnap cookies, vanilla or chocolate wafers in place of graham crackers.
