Apple Crunch

6 cups apples peeled, sliced (about 6 medium)
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon ground
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter soft or margarine


Place apples in a greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan or 1 1/2 -quart casserole. Combine sugar and cinnamon sprinkle over apples. Combine flour, brown sugar and butter or margarine sprinkle mixture over apples. Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes or until fruit is tender and top is golden brown. Serve warm with cream or ice cream.
