Chicken Apple Stew

Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon dry mustard
4 whole cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4 sliced carrots
2 cups chicken broth
5 Granny Smith apples peeled, cored, and sliced
1 cup shredded cabbage
1 cup applesauce

Directions:

Coat large Dutch oven with oil and heat over medium high temperature. Add chicken to Dutch oven, and brown on both sides. Add everything but last 3 ingredients and simmer for 25 minutes. Add apples and cabbage. When chicken is no longer pink add applesauce and simmer for 5 more minutes.
